Has anyone installed this hitch, if so any comments on difficulties?

Hello Hal, this is the hitch I have on mine and used it to mount my fender on. I spoke to the mechanic that put mine on and he said it took about 2 hrs to install. That would prolly equate to 4 hrs for average person. The good thing it came with plug and play harness which makes it well worth the money and you don't have all the unsprung weight to worry about.

thanks for that suggestion. we will look into offering that as a. optio. when using ilour trailer hitch. however if someone likes the fender but doest really need or want a hitch it will become a fairly pricey pair.

I bet you would be less than or equal too the $900 fenders out there with a lot more function.

Looks good but will not work with my Corbin bags so guess I will wait till Alfa gets their hitch on the market.

I like both the fender and the hitch.

It appears this design is the only one that is mounted to the frame and rear swing arm mounting points and I like the fact it does not just mount to the swing arm as most other do. For really light trailers the minimalist swing arm types are OK.

With a larger lightweight trailer I would think the Rivco design would ride smoother and be more stable than the swing are mounted ones.

Nice to have some choices!

Sorry love the design but the price is way outa sight even with the wiring. You'd sell twice as many at half the cost, only my opinion. Won't buy this product
