Part 2212095 is a kit, and is also an #2207836, but looks like it has only 1 sensor, and a bolt to plug master cylinder hole #2. Anyone actually installed this kit? Just curious how they go from 2 sensors to 1, and then have a jumper electrical harness too.

Mine is at the dealer getting the brake switch update today. Pt# 2212095. I had to have mine towed. When I put my foot on the brake, the brake failure light comes on it the engine wont crank. BTW has anyone had to tow one of these? Had to use ramps to roll it up on the flat bed.

WOW! I guess I'm pretty lucky.

Just picked it up. Ran great on the way home. I bought an extra switch to keep in my stock just in case.
I have lost a couple of 'gas caps'----people coming over to talk....I now have a spare in the trunk of the Slingshot....won't lose anymore.

Had mine replaced today. Master cylinder has 2 sections. Front section had sensor removed, and banjo bolt installed. Wire cap in part description is plugged into sensor wiring to alleviate the unplugged sensor feed. New sensor installed on the rear section of master cylinder.

Figured since I answered my own question, I'd post it here.

Thank you, I didn't know that.

I also have a 2015 i tried a cheaper non oem and they didn't work so i got lucky and found a oem set on e-bay for $35 part#
2207836 came with the 2 sensors and the washers for each and that fixed mine. I read somewhere that these
part#2212095/4016380 are newer update sensors and will you have to make sure you get all the air out of the system when you bleed the brakes $127 a piece sounds high to me i'd shop around.
Everyone says the cheap ones don't work. I just got my Sling back from the dealer. Put the OEM ones in. Working great so far.

The duel sensor set up uses different electrical value sensors than the new ones. In other words the old ones won't work in the new set up. Be careful when buying a spare one.

As far as needing a new wiring harness on a new slingshot, what happened to their quality control/testing?

I have a 2016 slingshot with 7k miles on it and the brake failure light is on but all is does is disables the cruise control. After reading around I found it could be the sensors off the break fluid reservoir so I changed those and nothing changed. Then I read it could be the magnetic brake light switch so i changed that to a mechanical one but the light is still on. Has anyone else has this issue and if so how did you fix it?
Are your brake lights staying on ? You need to adjust the brake light switch to ensure brake lights turn off. I had problem on my 2020. Adjust switch and no more trouble with cruise disabling and brake lights staying on

I had issues with mine too. Had the dealer perform the single pressure switch modification. Been working great since. Part #2212095

I have not had a problem with mine....ever since I installed the Polaris OEM switches.....but if I do have another problem I will definitely go with the single switch upgrade.....Thanks for the part number.
