lost or misplace both my keys .went to dealer and ordered 2 blank slingshot keys.when they arrived picked them up from dealer and they told me to bring them to their locksmith give them the key code and they will key them.....the locksmithj says they don't have the codes or software to make me a key.....need find a dealer or locksmith who has the ability to make me a key. jspak@snet.net.....hoping someone can hook me up.....

Another possibility: There are some Yamaha or Kawasaki key blanks that also fit. You can buy those off ebay and then a local hardware shop (Ace, True Value, etc) can usually cut them on the old style wheel grinder. That's what I did. However, that presumes that you still have at least 1 key to copy.
I have 2 sets of keys (from my old SS and my current one) that I don't use - longshot, but post your key code to see if anyone else has the same.
