it is confusing at first because you cant line up the rear passenger wheel w/ the rear view mirrow because there IS NOT rear pass. wheel lol.

when i first started, i paralleled park the front passenger wheel and the rear tire... so i was always slanted when parked on the street...

 

I idled into a flower bed in the smokies and did a bunch of damage. So yes I feel your pain.

More to the slingshot. Stinking flowers and bushes were highly resilient.

 

I parallel it only paying attention to the front wheels - I guaranteed will not park it straight, but a-la-fawkit, at least it's parked with no curb rash.

Doesn't help that there's always a GIGANTIC crowd watching you park these things. *wipes sweat off forehead*

 

parking in reverse has been a challenge for me as well. But I have had any issues with hitting any curbs.

 

I always back in to avoid any front damage, and never park in front of Cameron.

 

I parallel park with the back tire and passenger front tire equal distant to the curb... Back in at a 45 until front clears car in front, cut the wheel hard to tuck the front in and she sits nicely at an angle so I can easily see traffic when pulling out. No damage yet.

 

Twice for me as well, same fix too. HA!

I find it easy to park due to the fact you can lean out and see the front wheel. Starting to get used to the width. I only have about 4 inches on either side of my mirror when pulling the SS under my lift, but if I look at the wheels while pulling in I have no problems
