The backs have a 45,000 mile warranty on them which is cut in half due to it being different size than front. So I have a 22,500 mile warranty on these tires on the rear of a slingshot. Don't have to worry about burning them off because I can get another one for a prorated price depending on how many miles I have driven.

 

I don't 'baby' my tires, but in 2015 16,901 miles on a rear tire (stock Kendra) ... since than I have put 117,000+ miles of smiles on my Slingshot and generally get close to 20,000 miles. Burn rubber ???

 

I don’t intentionally burn rubber. I purchased my Slingshot used in April of this year with 2,600 miles on it, it now has 10,385 miles on it. I’m not sure how the PO drove it before I purchased it.

 

I have a 2015 with over 100 K miles. Last two sets were Continental extreme Contact. It is supurb in the wet and excellent dry. Still hydoplanes but not as much as stock or others. With all the weight in front the continenta grips better than most in the wet.

 

If I put a 300 + dollars tires on my SS I will have to put a red carpet to ride on top. If you ride like you said you ride you will change tires at a ratio of 2/1 every other year. Mean :2 rear tires and a set for the front every 2 years. Rear will go faster if you do doughnuts. Try this ones and hope you like it.
