I am just wondering if it looks cheap or not. What is the quality of the vinyl and is it durable or tough. The reason I am considering this application is I have a bad scratch on the hood and this emblem would hide it nicely.

 

The AMR graphics are of high quality and looks very nice. Installation is by heat and squeegee. I did the full kit and it's not some thin graphic kit, this stuff is rather thick but looks nice.

I would second the quality and installation part. 1st Class Vinyl, cut exactly to fit. You won't be sorry, unless YOU crew up the installation!

 

I am about 2/3 way done with mine, there are a lot of pieces if you are doing the entire vehicle. I agree the quality of the vinyl is the best I have seen, could of used a layout of the pieces for installation but a call to the manufacturer and they sent me one right away. I used 5% soap to 95% water solution when installing mine, didn't have a heat gun so used my wife's hair dryer(pssst don't tell her). If you decide to do the whole vehicle there are a lot of pieces so take your time, if just the hood its a fairly easy installation.

Yea I am a little behind on getting mine done. Had a bunch of my shoulder removed for cancer so it is talking me a little bit longer to get it done. Yours looks great! My next phase will be a solid blue top with embroidered stars on it instead of the red/black top.

 

I have a question that is being asked of AMR now, that is can I buy a hood graphic without the emblem cut out. My hood graphic got lost Hehe. As best as I can I usually remove all badges and factory emblem and name graphics. Until they pay me to advertise for them I will continue to do that, Just my thing.

Man i thought i was the only Anal brother like that, I once had a Benz and took it in for service and they noticed the badge was off and they took it upon themselves to add a new one, When i saw it i flipped, told them i paid for the car ITS MINE.....I told them dont ever place anything else on my car.......WTF.....I have the first year Genesis 09 from Hyundia and when i removed those badges everyone lost their minds trying to figure out what kind of car i was driving

If you look at my sling pic. You will notice that i do not have the hood emblem.
The only reason i decided to go with the full graphic kit is because a large shelf full of supplies collapsed and fell on the hood of the slingshot causing damage. Painting cost would have been a bit much so my other option was to apply the full graphics kit. Due to the exceptional quality it hid all the sanded and bonded areas of repair and it looks great in my opinion.

 

LC hopefully they are able to get that done for you, I can tell you when I called them they were extremely helpful.

 

They will do it for an additional $10 fee.

I got the hood kit and it came with the fill in piece for the emblem, it was cut out but it was included in the kit. I have my emblem but it was nice that I can add that in if I ever remove my hood emblem.

 

I keep hoping a more subtle graphic will be available. Not butterflies and unicorns, something less in your face but that will compliment the looks.

 

I'd just like to find a nice nose cone graphic to break up the black. Thought I saw an American flag graphic, but now can't seem to locate.
