I just ordered the F 4 Customs +5 along with the center post.
Any suggestions to help with the install? Thank you in advance for any tips.

I just installed a +9 and total time including the center brace was under 30 minutes. Installing the center brace was very easy and took the longest to do. Be sure to not over tighten the bolts that hold the windshield in place.

Thank You
I've always had a tendency to wrench just another quarter turn, so great advice.
Beer, loads of beer.
It helps.

Just wondering, how do you remove the cubbyhole for center post install?
Base model? If so, it just pops out. Wiggle on both sides and yank it out.

My SL has the Ride Comand unit but removing it was very easy. On the top of the dash and just to either side of where the radio is installed are pieces that come in at about a 45 degree angle. Lifting up on the front of them will pop them loose. I was able to lift them enough to expose the two bolts that hold the radio plate in place. After removing those there are two tabs then when pressed allow the radio to be removed. This gives access to the area where you install the base plate for the windshield brace. I'd bet your cubbyhold comes out in a similar way.

I recieved the F 4 windshield, and didn't get the bolts that go through the center post I bought from F 4. I got thr mounting plate that goes inside cubby, but no bolts?? Do I need to order those separately?

I did not use the center post from F4 rather one I picked up elsewhere. I'm sure if you give them a call they can answer your question.
