Didnt think I'd do it. In all honesty.. Dont know why I did.. BUT.. Guess it is true.. There is no such thing as too much FUN! Or hp/tq!
Got my hotter pulley (100) and installed it yesterday.
Another big WOW! From me. Even my butt dyno could noticeably feel the extra boost. Still rips up the tread (which is hard to notice the increase as much). BUT. what is very noticeable is how much harder it hits right off idle rpms and now even in 5th you can very much notice the boost kicking in at the low rpms.. EVEN IN TOP GEAR!!!
When I decided on this kit. After talking to Dave at DDM at length. My intentions were to NOT do the additional power upgrades (also required to safely, reliably run a the smaller pulley) I just wanted the extra reliability (2.5 in header, exhaust, coolant re-route, upgraded metal coolant tank, also did the assault industries hood vent...etc....). So glad I did those upgrades and decided to switch out my 105mm.
Very fun addition to an already very fun kit!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LITTLE UPGRADE!!!
Super easy to change pulleys on the ROTREX DDM kit. Getting down in there (its a squeeze) to pull the SC belt tensioner was the most difficult part. 1st pic (105mm off), 2nd pic (100mm on).
LOL, why would the cruise be affected? Traction control, brakes (including parking) and speed are the only things that could prevent your cruise to come on. Speed as in, it has a minimum to hit. I haven't tested on the sling, but most vehicles are 25 - 30 mph.
If any of the sensors affecting the above list are erroring, it will prevent cruise.
Some guys with any type of boost have had cruise control issues (mainly with hills) where their boosted SS will accelerate too fast while the cruise is on regulating speeds. Causing the cruise system to think that you just gave it a throttle input. Thus, kicking off the cruise.
I've been good thus far.
Just getting back from being gone for a little bit, glad you finished up the install @wickedwebby and are enjoying the supercharger! They are a lot of fun, and with your 4 wheel conversion, you should be having a great time!

Oh interesting, I'm in Texas, not many hills, so haven't seen this. Will be going up to Eureka Springs in 2 weeks, so will take notice of this and see.
Should be at 13 psi at that point More on that later
I keep saying that too, but I keep coming up with things I want to change. For example, my wilwood calipers on the front don't match the vette calipers on the rear of the trackhamr kit. My OCD tweaks when I think about it, but it won't be a cheap swapout, plus getting them powder coated to match.
I'm also wanting a Haltech and upgraded injectors, sigh.
I did purchase a digital dash, that's going to be my winter project, assuming it will take a while to get it working with everything.
Wokka,
Hahaha! Yup, hard to stop the farkle addiction!!
Does your turbo Kit use oem injectors?
Or are you going to upgrade your upgraded ones??
Last motor I burned up (with one of my turbo setups), ran out of fuel because I over boosted. Right when she was really cooking along... BOOM! BURNT!!
I'd guess so much.
13psi turbo will be thristy.
Wonder how much boost the exhaust/turbine side will be spinning at 13 psi in. Old school math use to double it out(dont know if that is a good estimate with the modern more efficient turbos). That could (potentionally) be alot of heat building up on the exhaust/turbine side.... Looking forward to hearing more.

Latest update all,
The last 500 miles have definitely proven to fine tune my fuel map.
She runs out FAST! GREAT!!
To start, I was getting a healthy amount of decel pops (between shifts under heavy throttle and aggressive down shifts).
Most of it has subsided.
Noticed that if I shut off my TC, it nearly eliminates all decel popping.
Very happy with the two rear tire shredding boost, right off idle!
3rd gear smoke with the TC off when shifting! I know tire smoke reduces acceleration...
But man is it fun!!!
Lui,
What a bummer. Cuz the quad Slingshots really, really rip!
True light/tight performance sportscar handling all with putting the power to the road!! Even in OEM hp/tq power trims. No more always spinning the single rear tire even with base power output.
