I carry a full face with Bluetooth and a leather jacket behind to the passenger seat so I can get to it while I drive. I carry a full face and a lighter jacket behind the drivers seat. I also have a 12 volt heated blanket behind drivers seat not in trunk, it has it's own bag.

At the present time I carry the Smith & Wesson M & P 9C because it is easier on the hands than the 9 MM Shield while shooting after having carpol tunnel surgery
