[Oct 16, 2015] The Hahn RaceCraft SlingFest CUP Track Day at the FIRM presented by... (Starke) | Polaris Slingshot Forum

As many of you might know, we are doing a track day on the 16th of October in conjunction with that, we are doing a Show & Shine for SlingShots Only as well. We will have a cash prize of $200.00 for the Best of Show along with Best wheels, Best engine, Best Theme and Cleanest Sling.

All of the SlingShots in attendance will qualify for the show, it will be judge by the folks at the track and the best part is I have 5 goodie bags left with the same items in them that the track guys have and we want to make sure that everybody that wants one gets one, so I'm trying to get these last 5 bags spoken for. The shirts are becoming short in supply, so you need to speak up now to make sure you get one with your bag.

ALL of the money we raise through the track day event and the Show is being donated to the WWP. So... every ride along and gate fee of $10.00, all of the show entries at $20.00 and any other donations we raise will be going to the WWP. Help us make this a true Win Win for everybody involved. either PM me or make your entry on the Biketoberfest KeyWest Ride thread or the SlingFest Cup thread and do it SOON!

I also want to Thank @Funinthesun , @ivor & @Hardy Fletcher for being the first ones to step up as non drivers for the SlingFest Cup and as our first official entrants into the Show & Shine. Because of them and @kenny_hwe are already over $200.00 in donations to the WWP. Way to go guys!

I emailed the local chapter of the WWP to see what we could do to help raise more money? I know @Bill from Hahn RaceCraft is planning on doing some ride alongs as well as I will, wonder if we should do some with the local WWP folks? Thoughts?

@Hardy Fletcher got back to me, so he got the shirt he wanted, these puppies are moving quick, you guys better speak up if you want one, I'm not sure there will be any left at the track event!

I took the Slingshot to a 'car' show, not to 'show' but to attract attention the charity I support. The Pediatric Brain Tumor foundation. Put a sign in the windshield Pictures in the Slingshot
Kids $1.00, Gals $5.00, DOM(dirty old men) $10.00 (their taking their own pictures. Raised $975.00 on Sat & Sun. with lots of smiles...

I'm on my way to see a good customer that use to own a large national company the we all know and we see their decals on vehicles everyday. He has a new boat I'm going to graphic and I mentioned that we were doing the track event and raising money for the Wounded warrior project and he is going to give me a donation for the cause. Sweet! I'll try to get a hookup on some product too! Can't say which company it is right now. Maybe later. But maybe some of you guys and gals can do the same thing and we can get a really nice donation put together that we can give to the WWP, right?

Ok.... Don Combs the former owner of Salt Life and I just met about his new boat graphics...... I mentioned that we are trying
to raise some money for WWP and he just gave me some cool hats and a shirt for prizes or a silent auction and he gave me the name of the new contact for Salt Life to talk to on Monday to see about some more swag. Let you guys know how that turns out on Monday!

Well.... we have three goodie bags left and with the addition of @ShadowWarrior and @pascal our Show & Shine is starting to look bigger and better. And the donations have kept rolling in, with @pascal $50.00 donation we are very close to hitting $400.00 raised so far before the event even starts!!

We have 5 yellow shirts left and 8 black shirts left as well. Anybody can buy one of these after I fill the last three bags, so let me know!

I just got a challenge from @AllIn5450 : He wants a XL Black shirt and is willing to bid for one, I'm all out of that size. Keep in mind, all of this money is going to the Wounded Warrior Project. @Noel Hughes donated these shirts to the Track Event and the Show & Shine, so the event is able to donate ALL of the money from the shirts to the WWP. Anybody willing to give up their Black XL shirt for another size or color? Here is his Challenge-

I will start my bid for a black xl shirt at $100.
Lets see how high we can get them.
The wife and I will be at the track day (weather permitting), but i am not going to race or enter the "pimp and shine" contest.
My SS is dirty, i bought it to ride(drive) not wash and polish, LOL

I think this is a great idea.... Anybody else?

@AllIn5450 has just said this- a 2XL will be fine for me. A little big, but it might hide my .45 and belly better, LOL
I will also bid another $100 for a salt life hat and shirt.

Guys, That's $200.00 here! I am just so excited for the WWP I could bust.... So, you guys think about this and lets keep this going and raise some money for a great event and cause!

OK... another cool deal, Salt Life just donated a Buff for every pre-entered driver we have, that's 15 buffs with one left over for the auction! I don't know if you are familiar with these , but they make great bandana's, face protectors or head covers when wearing a helmet. I use mine ALL the time.
