Whatcha talking about 40 degrees, I have been heading to work here in SW Oregon with the morning temps in the mid-high 20s as long as it is going to be dry?3WHEELDEATHTRAP if you dress warm and wear a full helmet you can ride in 40 degree weather and still have fun as long as the roads are dry. That’s assuming you have a decent windshield on your SL.

Very true, thus the reason we removed the original Kenda "summer tires" and installed "all-season" tires, it do make a difference.Just remember your tires are harder when its that cold and the amount of grip can be quite different than when it's in the 40s.
