I have a 2018 SLR LE with headers cat delete and R and D rear exhaust. I know the SLR comes with that high flow air intake but was wondering if the twist dynamics cold air intake would make a difference besides looking cool馃槣

I doubt it. . Before I installed my turbo kit, I had a CAI and while I did like the sound from it, I doubt it really made a significant difference in actual performance, but psychologically, the sound certainly sounds like the engine is performing better. The Polaris CAI is reported to actually flow LESS than the stock air intake.

A CAI produces a low-toned "throaty" sound as the air is sucked in under hard acceleration. Psychologically, it certainly sounds like the engine is producing more power. When mods were first starting to show up for the Slingshot, mods such as CAIs or an aftermarket exhaust were generally assumed to offer around 5-10 HP each, yet, IIRC, they were eventually considered to not be cumulative in effect.
