GM does offer a similar part. I have also wondered about covering the hole through which the hydraulic clutch line enters the transmission.
Transmission Dust Cover?
Is this really needed? Seems to me that GM would have put one on if it were. Opinions please.

I haven't researched any part #. I was just thinking about using aluminum tape to cover most of the hole or to just hold a small cover in place.
