I just want to thank
@Samowens44 for providing the video ob how to apply heat tape to help eliminate the heat on the passenger side of my SS. I also removed some of the bolt in the way and ground them down 1/4" so that the tape slid by easier. I double taped the bottom corner and put a strip over the horizontal bolts on the transmission tunnel. I did have the opportunity to do behind the muffler and floor in one piece as I had the muffler removed.
I would also like to thank
@NatomasSlingshot1 for providing me the link to the
@Slingking video on how to remove the side of the SS and the muffler. I would like to thank Slingking for making the video, just to remind people that the one bolt is located under the frame so take it off in one piece or you will be like me and have to use a fender washer to reinstall. I would also like to add when putting the side back on start the rear upper most bolt first.
So after a lot of questions I have finished my first (grind down bolts), second (apply heat tape to behind the muffler, under the passenger floor board and transmission tunnel)and third mod( ceramic the muffler and Cat pipe) to my SS. Thanks to all who responded to my questions. The fourth and fifth mods are just around the corner as I am waiting for my wheels to come from the powder coaters and my new tires(Michelin Pilot Super Sports) are waiting for my new Fire Red wheels.
