Heading out to the drags again this weekend hoping to improve on my times from last weekend. I got the new rear wheel and MT tire on there and had to make a new shift knob out of a block of aluminum I had laying around since my stock one broke last weekend shifting from 2nd to 3rd. What a difference it has made going to a solid handle from that spongy rubber one. Shifting feels a lot more solid. Will likely add a short shifter next. I'll add my time slips later this weekend.

What is the jalapeno are you cooling back there and why?

A few people in the 10s running boost. Give it a good launch at 10psi of tire pressure and see what happens! :)

I got sick and tired of roasting in the cockpit every time the cooling fans kicked on and blasted me relentlessly with hot air so I added a rear radiator that turns on at 180-185* and sucks all of the hot air out the back and keeps the fans in the front from turning on and roasting me.

Do you have any links to videos of the ppl running 10s? The fastest I have seen so far is that Alpha Turbo one running 11.2 with an auto trans swap.

I did substantially better last night with that new tire. I did not hit my goal of 12.5 but I was consistent. I tried a variety of methods of launching and it seems that an aggressive clutch slip works better than just dumping the clutch. My fastest pass was 12.67 at 107mph with a 1.94 sixty foot. All of my runs were between 12.67 and 12.78 and anywhere between 108mph and 111mph. I feel like I'm at the limit of what it will do with what I have. I might be able to get a little better time if I can launch better but my mph are all the same between this week and last week. I'm thinking larger injectors and more boost and maybe a slick but that would likely require forged internals which is an investment and I'm wondering at what point the belt will start to skip.

Mistyped. Meant to say 11s, not 10s. That Alpha video with their turbo and auto is the fastest I've seen.

What turbo kit you running?

Rabtech said that he was slipping a notch or two each run last weekend but I didn't ever feel mine slip.

As you can see from the time slip our 60' times are really close so I would have to say it is likely just the tension setting and condition of the belt and pulleys.

What kit are you running on yours and what do you have for a tire on the rear?

I'm running the @[email protected] DDM supercharger. The tire is a Toyo T1r 305 30R20. At the track I seemed to be doing as well as Rabtech in the traction department based on 60' times but on the street there is no contest between the T1r and his Mickey Thompson. I actually had a better 60' on my third run but broke loose at the top of 2nd gear due to the car before me loosing transmission fluid on the track and as you can see I slowed down a bit.

As they say the big one always gets always gets away, but I believe this would have been a high 7.90's pass if it had not been for the fluid on the track.

WOW! Yeah that is a hell of a 60'. I think you're right about that being a high 7.90s pass.
