So as promised we are posting 1 of our newest parts available for the Slingshot!

Dimensions - 1.5" OD round steel bar, fully welded and powder coated RED or Special orders in "raw" material. We can get it powder coated any color you like, just call and we can go over the pricing & details. All the factory tabs and mounting spots are still there. No drilling or modifications required.

Benefits- Strut Bar - It replaces a weak and kinda out of the place square aluminum bar in the front of the SS. The last welded frame structure is at the firewall, allowing only 4 bolt in the very front and the aluminum bar to keep all the front suspension together and stiffened up. This Strut Bar is located just a couple inches away from the front struts, allowing for solid more rigid frame, letting your suspension do the work, not your frame flexing. We took our Strut Bar on our 300 mile cruise, through a ton of curves and noticed the front end doesn't shake and vibrate as much at higher speeds and through the turns.

-Weather your an average weekend cruiser or all out hard core SS driver the Rist Rocket Racing Strut bar not only looks great but also will help in handling and stability.

Installation requires 2 people to remove the hood and less than an hour to install with basic hand tools.

Price $249.95 shipped powder coated red or raw material. Call for any special requests and colors as we can help out on that also.
*The first 20 customers to order will receive a 10% Discount! Total only $224.95 shipped. They will ship about mid April for our first batch. We will be posting them on our website very soon. So you will need to call or pm to get the discount as of today.*

Possibility of other colors? Some of us don't want red products slowing us down. :p:D:angelic::wtf:

We of course thought about the color lol. The only issue is when powder coating usually 1 to10 parts are the same price. So if we had a few people that wanted a different color we could or offer it in raw uncoated.

We figured to show the product we would offer in red first and see where we need to take the product. Plus with the red frames and red SS figured couldn't go wrong:)

@p120ud213azn yes the hood removal is necessary. It is only 4 bolts, weighs a total of 63 pounds. Very easy.

We will offer it in a Raw material form as well, but the price is the same. We are getting such quantity pricing on our powder coating its only a few dollars per part difference. If you get it red, you could still paint it, plasti-dip it very easily.

@SSREAPER our first batch will be a much nicer looking product as well and will be worth the wait ;) That is just our prototype made at the shop and painted red.

@Cameron Roberts if someone wants to do some testing like that we will be more than happy to help out where we can. We are still a small shop with limited funds. We are trying to keep the budget for more R&D and come out with new products.

Thanks for all the props!! :)

I feel pretty certain you could find someone to test it out. You might even make a thread on here looking for a tester that lives near a good skid pad. You get some real world numbers under your belt and these will fly.

You think post it in here or the Suspension section?

Also can a Vendor post in other sections like Suspension and try to sell parts?

Thanks for the idea @Cameron Roberts
Good question! I'm sure you could start a thread in the slingshot general discussion section. If it's wrong one of the mods will let you know and move it to the appropriate place. Sometimes it's easier to just do what you need to do and wait for someone to tell you that you screwed up. That's been my philosophy anyway.
