I think I want to go Turbo, but how will it perform in Colorado with the Elevation so high? Also Scared to
death of blowing the motor, with all the nightmare stories. The 6PSI Alpha is what I was thinking of doing,
with the widest tire available? Any recommendations?

Where in Colorado? I have a JonV turbo, I'll give you a ride, supposed to be 67° on Saturday. I'm running 10psi, which dyno'd at 305hp at sea level. I have about 9000 miles on the turbo, but the quality of these engines is suspect at best. Seems to be random chance, overboosting, and across at least 5 vendors. A safe setup on one, can detonate another. I seem to be one of the lucky ones.

Wish I had pics. Was on Memorial Drive in Houston doing bout 35. Watched a black Lamborghini coming up in rear view on driver side. Then looked and white Ferrari slid up on passenger side. Kinda just checked each other out and guy in Lamborghini motioned for me "get it". I figured what the hell and we could not go very far. I downshifted and that turbo kicked in and I left em like they were standing still...for about 200 yards. I was shutting down just as those big V12's were kicking in going by as a black and white blurr. Think they were pissed cause neither one stopped to say hi

Tried to get a Lambo to stomp of with me in Tyler Tx. The word must have gotten out about the SSs. Because he wouldn't even look my way.

I got smoked by a modded 1 series BMW coupe... I made the mistake of trying to run with him from a stop... Spun the tire shifting to second and he was gone... I could have at least hung with him with a rolling start...

As some of you know I installed a nitrous kit on my sling.
The other day on a traffic light a Charger r/t revved his engine at me
And looked me straight in my eyes.
I nodded at him and purged my nitrous system.
When the traffic light turned green he made a right turn.

Getting on the freeway in San Diego, Big SS Camaro in front of me, starts to accelerate in a tight right hander, I got close enough to read the serial number on his year license sticker, he couldn't shake me until we started in a straight line. I think I would have even pulled away until the big V8 spooled up, but I had to hold back I was so close.

Thats even better than a race. I had a mustang Rev and run away from my 70 monte carlo. He reved, I did the same and he turned. It absolutely made my night seeing him realize he was out classed.

I was getting on the freeway recently behind a C7 Corvette. I guess he saw me and decided to show off and pull away. He was not able to.

I didn't tailgate. I kept a respectful, safe distance. But, I kept the same distance. I broke off at about 85 and dropped down to the speed limit.

I have a few time. Unfortunately due to an expanding family and life changes, I haven't even been able to take the slingshot out for regular rides.
