Many thanks to the Polaris team and Freedom Powersports here in DFW for arranging to have both a Base and an SL model brought to TMS this past weekend! It was great to see and sit in this new machine. One Polaris rep told me that both were pre-production models, and that the Base model had around 5,000 miles on it already.

The next-to-last picture may seem a little random, but it was taken for a reason. The area just behind (to the right) of what appears to be the master cylinder (brake fluid reservoir) is open to the cockpit on this model. You can look down onto the pedals from this spot. I thought it was a bit odd to have an open hole to the engine bay. In the picture below, it's the area just above the white plastic reservoir. If you look closely, you can a little bit of silver in the distance, one of the pedals, to the left of the vertical black square beam. This was a pre-production model, so no telling if this is the same for the production configuration.
