A reminder that Polaris Extended warranties can be purchased anytime the unit is still under the factory warranty. My pricing will remain the same as long as Polaris does not raise the price they charge me to sell them.

Hi jimboski10, just a friendly reminder. When you go into a forum it will bring up the last page/last post. So if you go to page one of this forum you can find the answer to your question. Trust me I was confused how the forum/blog worked. Hope this helps.

Jim, That really all depends on if your dealer is willing to go up to bat with Polaris on a case. Short answer would be yes, that voids the warranty. Long answer if your dealer is good you should be able to fight for you in the claim report and you should still be covered. hope this helped!

Would pulling a trailer void the ESC warranty?
It shouldn't... but that being said it could because you are technically modifying the unit to do something that it was not designed to do from the factory. At that point it would be in the servicing dealer and adjusters hands. Although I don'y think it should be an issue, I hate giving a green light on it and then having you run into issues down the road because Polaris had a problem with it.

In other vehicles I've owned, the owner's manual specifically called out to NOT pull a trailer. In those cases, it would seem quite natural that doing so would void the warranty. In this case, I didn't see any such restrictions specifically called out in the manual - so it seems less clear to me. (It could be I missed it in the manual though.) Seems like ya might not know until it's too late. :) As you said - kinda up to the servicing dealer.

Chris, per the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, adding a CAI and/or an aftermarket exhaust should NOT void the warranty. I have a Scion FR-S & clarified that with my dealer & they agreed so I installed a CAI & aftermarket exhaust on it (& also on my Slingshot). Polaris will lose in court if they deny coverage for a bad engine (or any other power train component) because a customer installed 1 or both of those. Turbo? I agree, no way. Warranty no good for that!

Does this warranty extend from the factory 2 years or just take over from day one. Each warranty I have found is different

Unless I read it wrong on the attachment... It claims that turbo is covered as long as it's installed by polaris dealer. Which tells me if polaris dealer installs it, it shouldn't effect warranty. Ex., if I do a cat delete pipe, (installed by dealer) which is way less invasive than a turbo, I'd like to think it wouldn't void warranty.

Do you still offer the warranty at the same rate? If so I am interested! Thanks!
Yes, still offering the same pricing... until Polaris changes prices anyways ;)
