Thank you! Very helpfulJim, That really all depends on if your dealer is willing to go up to bat with Polaris on a case. Short answer would be yes, that voids the warranty. Long answer if your dealer is good you should be able to leave out the aftermarket CAI in the claim report and you should still be covered. hope this helped!
It shouldn't... but that being said it could because you are technically modifying the unit to do something that it was not designed to do from the factory. At that point it would be in the servicing dealer and adjusters hands. Although I don'y think it should be an issue, I hate giving a green light on it and then having you run into issues down the road because Polaris had a problem with it.Would pulling a trailer void the ESC warranty?
In other vehicles I've owned, the owner's manual specifically called out to NOT pull a trailer. In those cases, it would seem quite natural that doing so would void the warranty. In this case, I didn't see any such restrictions specifically called out in the manual - so it seems less clear to me. (It could be I missed it in the manual though.) Seems like ya might not know until it's too late.It shouldn't... but that being said it could because you are technically modifying the unit to do something that it was not designed to do from the factory. Look at very first post in this thread for contact info...Do you still offer the warranty at the same rate? If so I am interested! Thanks!
