Slingshot “Bucks” on 1st gear acceleration

Has anyone had their 2020+ Slingshot buck when accelerating in 1st gear? I’ve got a 2023 SLR and it feels like you‘re quickly pushing the gas peddle and then letting off several times. I can push in the clutch and then rev the engine and then continue accelerating without the bucking, but this catches me off guard every once in a while. This is in comfort mode but I believe it happens in Slingshot mode as well.

I think I stick with my 2016 with 102,000 miles, it keeps on going...

Never had that issue, I did have a bad throttle lag, but installing a throttle commander fixed that issue.
It’s just a tall ratio first gear. Makes the vehicle relatively “light” to the gear reduction. Same thing happens with bigbvehicles that have a creeper gear. If you don’t get the rpms matched to speed, it lurches back and forth a few times.

Yeah, I’ve tried revving the throttle a little before releasing the clutch in first gear, seems to avoid the lurching. Thanks for your response!
I’ve done it a few times as I was getting used to the clutch. Seemed like I’d be fine one ride and then do it most of the starts on the next.
A little embarrassing. Everyone is already staring and then I show them I don’t know how to drive.

My 2021R with auto will do that if I'm going really slow also, it starts to buck. I have to let off the pedal or give it more throttle.
Thanks for the info! Good to know I’m not the only one!!
