And your traction control and stability control now doesn't work. Ha.

Not a huge deal at the dragstrip, but a good reason to be careful not to put it into a wall.

Interested in seeing #s and your reaction the first time the belt skipped teeth.

PS - if traction is that important to you, you really need to look at replacing shocks.

My Slingshot is a build in progress for 1/4 mile track. I feel I just need to say that because others thought it was for street use.

I have lots of work I am doing with my Slingshot, it's not a one trick pony.

I could just do all the modifications over one weekend, but I am building to see what makes improvements.

Enjoy the ride with me!

Looks fun man!

Just make sure the rolling diameter ratio from the big rear to your fronts and very close to the stock setup. In this way, you will retain traction and stability control. Stability control will be very important at the drag strip. Traction control will obviously be turned off.

When I ran my 305/45/18 Nitto drag radial, my lights were not on until I got to the track. Then, they came on and it was an absolute handful on the track. Very fun, but pretty dangerous as they spin so easily if you don't know what you are doing.

What shocks are you going with?

Haven't purchased any shocks yet. I'm open to suggestions. Interesting about traction control off. I will try both ways with this slick. I know with street tire, traction control on helped keep traction better, and I made better times than when I had on versus off.

Oh and this slick is same as stock height. But all that does not matter once I take out factory ECM and get this Haltech installed.
