Oct 1st would be about right, the trucks would have time to get to their locations, the dealers would have time to prep the units, the guys in the back room would have time to burn off excess rubber off our tires.........:arghh:
I forwarded ABQ's post to my dealer, he just called me and said they have nothing official at all.
BUT...he said there was a lot of chatter going at the mother ship. The area Rep told him that trucks "COULD" start rolling in the next couple weeks, but that anyone that actually knows is not talking.
When I get word the trucks are rolling and they can give me a VIN # I will get excited.
My dealer said today that he has no word about the 1st of October. Last comment he heard from Polaris was the first three units(1-base and 2-SL) mid-October to end-October... Second shipment from Polaris 30-days later... Hope 1st of October is correct...
Just called my dealer. He gave not indication when they would arrive and said he would give me a heads up when he received noticed that the trucks were on there way. This does not give me much notice to set up financing ahead of time. He also said he did not put up his display yet since he has not product to put into it. That could not be good for the mother ship to hear if dealers who have their displays up first get the first shipments. I've waited long enough. It would be good public relations to let customers (pre-paid) as to what to expect. Yes I am excited, but winter is also coming which means any later delivery means garaged till next year. Hope they do come out Oct. 1st.

Heading out to Las Vegas for the big reveal tonight of the 2020 Polaris Slingshot. Hopefully we will get to see the new engine, verify an automatic transmission and some of the other changes. I will be taking as many pictures and videos as I can and get them posted up. Let me know if there is...
I finally got a Dyno test on my build. Chris and all the great guys at CBM in Colton Ca. Tweaked my 2017 SLR today and have it humming.
Final numbers are
265HP at the wheel and 220 pounds torque with 6 pounds of boost.

I'm going to store SS under a carport next to my old shed where I normally park my car; want to bring car in to garage for winter. Mice frequent the shed and area despite generous applications of Tomcat mouse killer. Will use a full cover for SS and am thinking of putting Moth Ball Packets...
Was wondering if only a slingshot dealership can replace tires are does anyone use a normal tire stores..not sure if a normal tire store would have the ability to remove and replace rear wheel..thanks in advance for replies
