Setting up a BBQ for the end of summer. Would love to have a good turn out. In the Rocky Mountain Slingshot FB page I have the event set up, so if you have a FB account please let me know if you plan on making it. Here is the break down:

Time: 1pm to 6pm (or whenever it winds down)
Location: Castlewood Canyon State Park (near Franktown CO)

Alright all those in the Colorado Area....and maybe those visiting the area...we have been confirmed for Sept 30, we have Event center 1 at Castlewood Canyon State Park.

There is a facebook event created in the Rocky Mountain Slingshots page with more details. Also we are going to do this Pot luck format so all you creative culinary folks can show off!

It's happening this weekend! We have 19 Slingshots from the local area showing up for the end of summer BBQ. We will have Ribs, burgers, brats, hot dogs, all the usual sides, and cupcakes. To top it off, we will also have a couple of door prizes being handed out amongst the local groups. You'll have to show up to find out what those are! Feel free to stop in and say hi and get a bit to eat. Best part...you might make some new friends!
