I haven't pulled the tail light units to check them, but if they're assembled like most headlight units, putting them in a low oven (around 200, maybe 250F max) should allow the sealant to loosen up so they can be pried apart. Double check that temp setting before trying. Unfortunately, since the tail light units are LED, there's also a chance they're chemically bonded (glued) and may not be easy to disassemble.
