Looks good Tom-n-Carol, we just may go ahead and install the original Paramount fender as it was originally designed, though, as you show, a quick trip to the hardware store, a lil innovation and we bet for under $10 can put together a bracket system modelling the newer fender option? Either way Paramount has lost out on a sale..........................

A little feedback from the retail side: The reason the plastic stuff is so expensive is because there are extensive initial tooling costs for the molds. Those tooling costs can run in excess of $10,000, depending on the size and complexity of the project and are amortized into the retail price of the product so that the initial investor of the concept doesn't lose his pants. Some projects are a loss and some are successful.. it's really a gamble for the investor. We're not the initial investor on this fender... but thought we'd shed a little light on why stuff costs what it does for these low production Slingshot items.

With that said, we just added the Stealth 2.0 fenders and do have some in stock that we have some wiggle room on if anyone is interested! It fits up to a 305 series rear tire and have an optional air foil and rear led running light that daisy chains off the license plate harness.

Please call in and ask for Will on special pricing for these!

Wiggle room?? Call to get special pricing? Does that not say something about how the fender was originally priced? We dun-do believe, William, that you just helped us to make our point? lol!

OKY DOKY, the original Stealth Fender has been installed as originally designed mounting to the back without the top bracket, I did leave the license plate in it's factory location, however.

Awesome looks great!
This is the only rear fender so far that we think actually looks like it belongs on, and compliments the looks of, the Slingshot. The installation was a little chore, ( thank you very much Samowens44 for the videos), but I believe that has been greatly simplified with the newer design. The only somewhat disappointment was that we were expecting it to be more ridged, and it does have a tweak as mounted, though probably only the most critical would observe it. On a rainy day I'll try to go out and rearrange some of the mounting washers to see if I can work out the twist. Overall, it does look good!
