Lemon Pledge has long been a go-to for cleaning plastic motorcycle windshields. Lemon Pledge is heavily advertised, but the same manufacturer also makes Favor, which is essentially the same ingredients, but costs less since it doesn't get much, if any, advertising. Here's a rather long YouTube review of several similar cleaner/polishers -

+1 (y)

Pledge/Favor also works wonderfully on the rest of our plastic vehicles, especially with keeping the black plastic looking shiny and new!

I researched rainex on here but did not see any comments. has anyone tried rainex for plastic on their windshield and if so what were your results?
I bought some of the Rainex for plastic several years ago and tried it on the SS and my scooter. Doesn’t work very well at all, I’d stick with regular car wax. Love RaineX on my car windows, but the plastic stuff is nothing like the original.

There is a product called RainZip that is for plastic windshields. I used it on a Goldwing windshield and it works great. It is sold by National Cycle. A little pricey, but I've found that one application works for months. It can be had from Amazon.

The best thing to use on stock Slingshot’s windshield is Plexis. Go to eBay or Amazon for it. It’s not cheap, but a little goes a long way.

Plexis is great for the entire vehicle! Makes the black plastic parts look cool and more consistent from one to another. Heals some scratches. (Use it on our aircraft & its plex. windscreen) Keep it in the glove box with a microfibre cloth.
