I took my Slingshot in for its 500-mile service and an amazing thing happened. Polaris sent one of their computer/ECU specialist from Michigan to collect data from my Slingshot. The service manager and him spent most of the day performing various driving situations in order to provoke a stall or an engine rev, etc. and collected all kinds of data while doing it. And they did this in the rain! I'd say that's one heck of a commitment to both listening & addressing things. I'm told a similar situation was done recently with the RZR-570 with good outcome. Polaris seems to be doing whatever necessary to make a great product even greater.

Same thing happened to Toyota Pruis back then. They recalled lots of Prius do to gas peddle getting stuck. From hearing with the problems that Polaris is having with Rpms going up or down seems like the same is happening but whether it's mechanical or electrical Polaris is looking into it. The good thing is that no one got hurt yet as a result of the problem. Cross our fingers that nothing bad happens to anyone because of the problem. Hope it's just a simple fix.

That sounds promising. I'm glad they're not holding onto the whole "there are no known issues" line. This whole experience has been a bit of a roller coaster for me and I'm usually pretty even. My perception of Polaris has been pretty negative lately. Stuff like this helps, thanks for posting it.

Big difference between the SS and the Prius is we have a clutch to stop power to the wheel where an automatic doesn't.
