I am partial to Meguiar's Ultimate car wash, Meguiar's Ultimate liquid wax (pure synthetic polymer) and for the rough black plastic I use ArmorAll Outlast. The wax is very easy to use, goes on easily and very thin, comes off even easier and has a LONG lasting shine and protection. The wash inhances the shine. The ArmorAll Outlast is amazing, rub it on the rough plastic, old or new and looks like new and lasts for over 100 washings. I use these products on my Caddy CTS, Sliverado, and my RZR. I do like my toys clean. Unbeatable combination IMHO.

How would this work for the bottom of the SS . Is this a new product for the SS or do you use this for your other Polaris vehicles

The Slingshot has lots of raw black plastic. I'll have to grab a bottle of that ArmorAll Outlast and give it a try. My only concern is that it may cause sand or grit slung up from the rear wheel to stick and accumulate on the plastic. Still gonna try it cuz LowDid sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

Actually its an entirely new product from Polaris, its in all of the accessory books ( sportsman, ranger, RZR)

I believe this product will act like a product we use pretty regularly around the dealership. Its called SC1 and its basically a silicone type oil in a can. More commonly know as the craigslist killer of ATVS. because of its ability to hide scuffs and make old faded black plastic trim pieces look nice, new and black. I personally use the SC1 on the fenders of all my bikes and use it as a tire-wet for my cars.

I think if you can get under the SS to wash and reapply often im hoping it works great.

Heres a description of the SC1
Maxima SC1 Silicone Detailer

High gloss SC1 Clear Coat is specifically formulated for the Powersports industry. SC1 coats plastic, fiberglass and painted surfaces. Makes the clean up process easier - excellent for use on M/C and ATV fenders to prevent mud and dirt from adhering to plastic. Sc1 dries completely and is water resistant, leaving a long lasting luster without attracting dirt and dust

Features:
  • Fresh Clean Scent
  • Restores factory shine and color
  • Leaves a dry, long lasting luster

Try it Stan, I use it on my RZR, dries almost immediately and cleans up very easily, nothing sticky about it. GL !!!
