Our first 2023 Slingshot R is ordered! 🥳

Nice and congrats! We got lucky and walked in and they Had an R on the show room floor. ( 2022 model). Now cant wait for the snow to disapear!

I called and it is built but waiting on something. I was hoping to have it for Daytona Bike Week but it is going to just miss it! 😰

We ordered ours in December. 2 days after they were announced. Picked it up last week! Mine set built for 3 weeks before it shipped out.

I ordered mine on the 13th of Feb. Its been at “scheduled” since about the 21st”. Every sunny day that looks nicer than it feels, I get a bit antsy.

I tried to order mine soon after the December 2022 release of the 2023 models but lost two weeks due to the holidays with the dealer.
I called polaris and I was hoping to be down at Daytona Bike Week right now but my Slingshot is built but waiting on something?? The shipping/delivery keeps drifting but I had early April in my head from the start. Right now I'm enjoying snowmobiling!

Mine arrived 2 days after it actually shipped. It still shows shipped, but I have it. So don’t put a ton of faith in that website.

Congrats. I got the call yesterday that ours is ready. Running to the bank when they open, and then it’s on the way to pick it up.
Im gonna be racing some rain getting home. I can’t wait.

A bit of advice, If you need to drive it in the rain, turn off the traction control. I know that sounds odd but the rear wheel is easy to spin on the wet pavement and the "Nanny Control" will keep backing off the throttle and make it harder to drive.

Interesting. Good to know, so it’s like the old traction systems and snow.
The weather ended up being nice for me. It was supposed to be cloudy and getting ready to rain. Instead, it stayed sunny until mid afternoon and made it a real good ride.

That is a bold color scheme!!!

So they never fixed the traction control?
