question for all you guys. would it be ok to run a wet nitrous system on turbo SS.

Absolutely, but it's sort of a broad question.....If you're going to run N20 without prior experience, be sure to do your research first about how to run it safely.

@miller2010 is doing it right now.
No you really can't run nitrous on a turbo SS. Unless you want to pick up your connecting rods with a dust pan. It's been discussed in other areas that the powder metal rods have a breaking point around 300hp. The turbo kits get as close as they safety can to that.

Oh shit. I'm sorry guys. For some reason my brain didn't pick up the word "turbo" when I first read his question. Didn't mean to pass bad info.
It could possibly be used like a intercooler with a small shot it will make the turbo more power cooling the air just like what a intercooler does this is the way it works on our race cars but we also run forged Pistons does anyone know what Pistons are in the ss

From what I read they are cast not forged, like the rods...

A hypereutectic piston is an internal combustion engine piston cast using ahypereutectic alloy–that is, a metallic alloy which has a composition beyond the eutectic point. Hypereutectic pistons are made of an aluminum alloy which has much more silicon present than is soluble in aluminum at the operating temperature.

We have hypereutectic pistons. Here is a good description of each type.

Not to start a pissing match but just for the sake of correct information our rods are also not "cast", they are forged powdered metal. While not the strength of a true forged billet they are formed with pressure and heat from a controlled mixture of blended metal powders so more uniform and stronger than traditional cast ...

I think they are pretty tough pistons and rods. Kinda a mid ground.
I've got a set of spare rods with 500 miles on them if anyone wants to buy a spares set.

I'm surprised nobody has really developed a NOS system for the SS. This is the route I would like to go.

I know about those systems but there are like 2-3 guys with them and there is no talk about them which tells me it's not proven yet. I thought for sure there would be more of them out there now especially for the HP to $ ratio but every one is on the turbo wagon. Yes, I would think a lot of people would be interested in a NOS system from you @Turbosling. If I could get a 50-75 HP NOS boost system for under a grand from a reputable company I would be all over it.
