For anyone wanting air ride but have no room for air tanks, we now have the solution.

Our new hidden Torpedo Tanks mount under the Polaris Slingshot giving you 1 gallon of air storage without taking up any luggage compartment space. Each tank comes with pre-installed 90 degree push to connect fittings, drain/emergency fill valve, mounting hardware and instructions for mounting under the slingshot.

Our torpedo tanks can also be combined with our luggage compartment tanks giving you up to 3 gallons of air storage in your Slingshot.

  • Powder coated aluminum construction
  • x2 1/2 gallon tanks (1 gallon total)
  • Each tank measures 3" x 20"
  • Mounting hardware, drain/fill valve, and instructions included

Any photos to show under vehicle placement? Will the tanks and filling be durable enough in that location?

Making the instructions today and will post some pictures up of them mounted. They work great under the SS and only require one hole to mount everything with the way I designed it. Turned out pretty trick.

Sounds awesome. I will stand by. I am so close to ordering a kit. Just waiting on the IRS to kick me my funds.

Looks familiar! You sure you did not get the idea from somebody?

I did put a dryer on the compressor intake to avoid having to drain the tanks. In a year or so I will manual check/dump the tanks to see how effective the dryer is.

Definitely not going to lie and say that didn't give me some inspiration or ideas. Wondering if one of these would also fit in that side compartment like in your second picture. hmmm

Got the opportunity to get some nice shots of the Torpedo Tanks in the Slingshot. The kit comes with a schrader valve that can be remote mounted in a ton of different spots and serves a dual purpose drain/emergency fill for both tanks. To drain you just lower the rear and bleed the valve like you would remove air from a tire. Any moisture that has accumulated will bleed out. Also if you have an emergency it can be filled with air just like a tire with a normal air chuck. The whole set up mounts with two v-brackets and only requires one hole to be drilled. It feels super solid mounted up. Couldn't be happier with the way it turned out.

Damn... That wont work with the WP rear dual exhaust already capitalizing on that space.

Super clean install none the less.

Dang that is a bummer. They can be mounted in quite a few spots though. I am doing an install on an slr in the next week or two and am going to try a few more spots just to see.

@LargeCar what is the dimension of the Air tank you have on the sides? I Want to put a rev torpedo tank in the same location that you used & I'm hoping it will fit. You have one on each side correct?

Not sure what the actual dimensions are, it is a Standard medical oxygen tank. I did have room to move it up and down a bit. I thought RD said he was going to check to see if his would fit in the side pod.
