New Coilover option from DDMWorks! - $749
The DDMworks 2 way adjustable, monotube suspension system for the Polaris Slingshot is designed to be an entry level kit that dramatically improves handling and ride, while delivering a stylish visual upgrade to your Slingshot. This system was designed and tested to give you a nice balance between price and performance with high quality components.
Some of those components include - T6-6061 aluminum spring seats and lock collars, Italian IP F.A. damper oil, High quality Japanese SAE9254 Coil Springs and high strength steel seamless shock bodies. The spring rates for the kit were chosen based on our experience in record setting land speed racing, numerous Slingshot track days and overall unmatched knowledge of the Slingshot suspension to ensure you a great ride and improved handling.
Adjustments are easily accessible with a single knob that has 32 levels of damping. Ride height of the coilovers is changed by adjusting the length of the shock with a simple turn while installed. This adjustable shock body length allows the ride height to be changed without messing with the spring preload, keeping the shock in its optimal stroke range.
You can also customize your coilovers with a couple options. Springs are available in many durable powdercoat colors to create a custom look for your ride. Sspring bearings, which go between the spring and the shock body and allow the spring to rotate easily on the shock body when being compressed are also available. With the spring bearing installed, the spring can rotate easier and give a more consistent response, along with also making spring preload adjustments easier.
All coilovers are shipped to you fully assembled and ready to install on your Slingshot along with full color instructions. These coilovers are made overseas and come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
