I just want to say if you are mechanically inclined at all. This kit is not bad at all to install. I have never installed one before mine but with the support that Alpha provides and the straight forward approach to this kit installation is a no brainier. And you will love this system I have just over five thousand mile since install and love it. And it feels really good knowing I did it myself.

Just my two cents. Not here to knock anyone that doesn't feel comfortable with a wrench

I have much experience in Old Scholl VW Bugs, and have built many . If your stating you installed yours with help from phone tech support . Then I am up for that challenge and look forward to the UPS truck. How long for return on ECU? Thanks for responding.
@Turbosling Any installers near Chattanooga, TN?

The hardest part is swapping the oil pan. Everything else is pretty straight forward. You send off the ECU and it takes Bob 1-2 days to flash it. The total time will depend on how you send it there and back. I usually do USPS Express Overnight. $25 bucks each way and it they dont make it by noon it is free.

I am sure you could do it yourself over a weekend! Good luck!

I am more than glad to help with email/phone support even on the weekends! The turn around on the ecu is about 48 hours. If you built a VW you are more than capable of installing this kit.
