Hi
Jenn from Rhode Island here. Rented slingshot while in the Florida keys. I just could not stop thinking about that machine. Came home, had to have major surgery. All went well (no cancer) I m pushin 50, still thinking about that whip.. dropped a deposit 3 weeks ago. Got my machine yesterday. Just need to figure out my sound problem with the Bluetooth and really need for warm weather to arrive. If it don’t get warm soon, I’m gonna buy a heated body suit and look like cat woman whippin it up to Boston 😀

Welcome to the SS world. There has always been an issue with the stock sound systems. I ended up choosing a base model and putting an after market sound system that sounds way better than stock for less than the difference in model pricing. Now my SS is a 2016 so I would of thought that they would of worked the bugs out by now.

New year NEW issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful color!
Don't knock heated gear! I've used it and it's been a life saver. Back when gas was cheap I used to take my daughter to work a couple times a week in the Sling. On the cooler months I'd use my heated vest and gloves, so glad I had them.

I use a seat pad with integrated cooling fan and heat. Price was around $50-60, IIRC.

I bought mine from Amazon, but I don't recall seeing the heated and fan-cooled seats recently on Amazon, just plenty of fan-only seats pads. I have seen some heated and fan-cooled seat pads on EBay, though.
