Lighting Up Emblems
Hello everyone,
I was riding along in my SS the other day when a F-150 pulled up next to me and started asking me about the SS. I notice on the side of the truck the F-150 emblem was light up. Has anyone ever seen this kind of thing for the SS emblems? I haven't been able to find anything like it online.
So if no one has seen it, I was thinking about trying to do it by buying some spare letters from the dealer and hollow them out. Then take epoxy resin mix it with glow in the dark powder and fill in the letters. This, hopefully, will glow real well at night and look cool. I am not sure if it will work, but it is an idea. Another idea is somehow putting LED lighting behind the epoxy resin and actually lighting the letters, but that would mean drilling small holes for each letter on the fin to run wires.
Ideas, concerns, questions, etc. are welcome.
