Since the Slingshot will most likely be classified as a Motorcycle we will probably have a bunch of Motorcycle riders here.

I really want a Grom like yours to toss around locally. I only work 8 miles from home, and no highway, so I think It'd be very fun. I think my Nephews would sh!t a brick if I came home with one, as they are 15 and 17 and we hang out a lot.

The Grom is a great little bike! It sounds like it would be the perfect commuter for you. It gets about 100 mph so it would easily pay for itself

I have a Grom as well and use it for a 20 mile commute , also have a Yamaha FZ6R for the "need for speed" and some touring

4th was Aprilia RS50 - not mine, but same colors

5th was Suzuki SV650 - no pic


6th was Suzuki SV1000

7th was BMW F800ST

Final fun vehicle was 2005 Lotus Elise...

Most fun bike - SV650 with the F800ST a very very close second, it was just too heavy to be the very best for everything. That SV650 was the most communicative, reliable, simple hooligan bike ever...

I included an image of the Lotus also because it is the closest thing I've ever driven to a motorcycle... with a heater, and AC (sort of...) And the Toyota drive train was bulletproof.

Hoping the Slingshot makes the grade for "affordable Elise"

Sadly, yes. It's an awesome bike, but I can't justify letting it sit in the garage if I'm going to be driving the slingshot everywhere!

Yeah I hear ya! I think my motorcycles are going to get ridden a lot less once I get a Slingshot. I have too many track days and drag strips to hit once I get it

Thats right, 98 Valkyrie. Supercharged, 25psi at full throttle, with water injection and nitros. Built 40 over with 8.5:1 JE coated pistons, crowler rods and so on. 110mph in the 1/8th mile with nothing but the throttle
