It hasn't even been a month since I parked her. I can't stop thinking about her. Is winter almost over? :bawling:

It was almost 40 degrees when I rode this weekend- finally warmed up to 52. Froze my a$$ off, but better than no ride- Expect El Nino to hit in Jan-Feb time frame, and then I will have to park it..... dreading that time!
Nice winter weather, but to dam cold to ride till spring, I've got it stored at my buddy's shop. Wonder if she's lonely ?:(

:arghh::arghh::arghh: Tell me about it!!! I asked my wife yesterday if she could hear that? she said no what is it? I said it's coming from the garage do you hear it and she can't looked at me with a puzzled look and I said yeah I think it's the slingshot crying. :( She said the only thing I hear crying about it is you.o_O So I went and poured a little water on the headlights and on the floor underneath it and told her to come look she started laughing and then called me stupid.:arghh:

I forget his name but what about that poor soul from Norway. He said he is taking delivery of his in 2 weeks. I think he's gonna need a tire chain with ski's on the front ! Brrrr.:(
I was mopping around the house on the 15th of Sept, cause I wanted to go to the Ozarks (My Sling was broke----NO headlights--
funny just got the recall notice) Wife said buy a new one so I did on 16 Sept and was in the Ozarks on the 17 of Sept. Got a call in to Nielsen's in Lake Villa -- hope to take her in on Saturday for a fix
don't want a second one with bad headlights....It'll be a cool
ride going North but by the time I will head back to Indiana should warm up a little.
Drove mine last Wednesday as it had to go in for service and got stuck in less than an inch of snow. I almost made it to the street that was cleared and dry. It was not bad pushing it about 2 feet and then spinning the tire to gain another foot, but not enough. I was able to back up on the cleared sidewalk and get a run at it. Last Saturday I picked it up from the dealer and drove it into the seacan for the winter or at least until the middle of January. Hopefully El Nino or our Chinooks kick in a melt all the snow.

Did not ride today, was building the mounting brackets for the roll bar luggage rack. Takes a while to hand machine those parts.

You northern boys crack me up .....

.
You Americans are lucky. I was riding down to 20F when I knew the roads were dry. But as soon as there was a risk of ice I threw in the towel. :( Cold is no big deal, it's like a snowmobile. But ice and summer tires don't mix...
Never gets old... @Shatneyman

But, it was so stupid hot and rainy this summer I quit riding. Maybe at night a couple times. So this is the riding season...
