The below area just inside the headlights would be a great place to add additional accent lighting. I really don't want to add all the other parts from the Canadian model to put another set of Slingshot lights. Accent LED lights are really affordable and fairly simple to wire to a toggle switch.

What about adding accent LED lights like the ones below?

Does anyone have any experience of adding these type of accent lights? Any creative thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

Especially if you are good in Photoshop and can mock up a couple of examples. ;)

Nice. I'm going to try to avoid the items that will get me even more in trouble with the local law enforcement. How could you leave this off if you had it?!?

Would love to see more creative examples though....

Flashing red or blue lights could attract unwanted attention from law enforcement. White day runner leds are the safe way to go.

I put flashing lights on my K1200 Beemer for parades and funeral escorts. Having the same concerns about law enforcement, I used a green LED. Very visible and other vehicles avoided mine because they couldn't figure what agency I might be. On my GL1800, I use a static array of bright purple on both the bike and the sidecar. By the way, the BMW also had functioning beer taps plumbed into the trunk. I just told everyone that is was a German factory option.

Already had the idea. So order it off eBay 14 bucks. Tested it and it works great. I bought my own leds for the interior. Much cheaper and will be easy to install too!

Put your additional light on their own switch so they can be turned off when riding in states that don't allow them due to color or d.o.t. approval.

Thank you SF

I would just watch the by state laws on that stuff.
CT has a law that there is no more than 6 forward facing lights.

And you can never have a red forward facing light.
We know about the red light law, The red light comes separately, it is two different options.
You can switch to off while you're driving, and put it on whenever you like as a choice. It's only $18 US on our website

Can you explain to six lights that you talking about? This is 2 strips of White leds, did you mean six led lights?
