I've had so much fun on mine since 2015. I remember shortly after buying her, I was turning left into my neighborhood, road was wide and clear, so I turned off traction control and ESP. Little did I know how sideways she'd go and I almost hit the curb!! I stopped maybe a foot from it!!! That got my attention quick! I've had girls jump in mine while parked in Las Vegas, even put my helmet on for pics (back during helmet law). I was pissed cause they didn't even ask me. Had they asked before hand, I would of had no problem. Almost got into a fight with jackasses working locally at RideNow, they wouldn't keep their hands off it while I was inside shopping, even after giving them a kind warning. Some people have no respect! Another fun time I did rides for charity in Las Vegas and took numerous kids up and down the street! Had a few teenagers want some donuts and ended up burning that rear tire completely down. Well worth it though. My 17 year old son loves it, been riding with me for years now. I have some clips below doing some donuts. One of them is at Lake Mead and the boat ramp was grooved and I wore the piss outta that tire! And I also drove it through a car wash once inside with my son! BEST TIMES!

TBH, I enjoy high-speed corners or acceleration-induced rear-end sway, but I DO NOT enjoy getting pulled over, so I try not to attract attention whenever I'm in traffic or know LEOs are around. I have a favorite 15 mph right-angle turn that I've successfully done at a little over 30. (Don't ask me why I no longer try to do it at 40!:D) I've also been pulled over for spinning my tires while accelerating and have been informed such actions constitute reckless driving/failure to control my vehicle. I enjoy friendly conversations with local LEOs, but I try not to attract their attention.
I know you can do it at 40mph+...I've done it...is there a ridge or break in the pavement that would cause your backend to pogo/jump a couple feet...If not you have to keep rpms high....3rd to the corner then downshift to 2nd and keep it around 35mph to 40 mph turn in a little high and punch it in the apex or if it starts to break hit it......idk ...it's a feeling thing...learned how to four wheel drift at 16 with my 67 camaro and multible dirt bikes…..but sometimes there's a price to be paid....don't know if you have paid it yet or not but I have faith in you......if we don't take it close to the edge we will never know what she is capable of....I'm biased ,my father raced flat track at ascot when I was young.....he told me if don't come close to crashing everyday your not driving fast enough....that was on his old flat track bikes....we had to put brakes back on them....I remember that....but other than that ….idk he was ….like a james dean type when I look back....alright that's the last time I have 3 doubles and post on the forum.....night

Had I been going the other direction, I would have wrecked my Slingshot, but I was lucky enough to have a grass shoulder that gave me room to recover after I spun off the road. I ended up with a bunch of sod lodged inside the rear wheel.

I live in the states just south of the Canadian border. The first time I crossed the border I spent five minutes answering questions. No problems, the border guard owned a Honda Goldwing and all the questions were about my Slingshot.
Lucky he didn't decide to "confiscate it". lol
"Sorry sir. Please wait here while we take your vehicle to our "other facility" across town for further inspection." ;) ;)
