Any women take possession yet? I am #2 at my dealer and they have already delivered #1 and kept the other SL for a demo. There are already 2 more people with deposits behind me who are offering to buy my spot in line. NO WAY! The next one is mine!

Well, this is a disappointing post...I was ready to fly out to NM from CA and pick up an SL all green light bought airline ticket and room for Friday night where the salesman was picking me up Saturday morning to sign papers...and they told me it was a 49 State VIN that could not be registered in California...S U C K S!
I would have been on the list for Saturday 11/23...oh well...wasn't meant to be! I figured I'll stay in line for my Base model here in San Diego. The upside to this story is the $$$ I'll save buying the Base SS to where I can put it towards the Turbo!

PATIENCE IS VIRTUE! I gotta keep telling myself this!

^While I do agree that the method for delivering to dealers across the country is a bit scattered when a person starts their two year warranty has no bearing on anything. If I pick mine up today and put it straight into storage I still get two seasons of riding while under warranty and put it into storage again just as warranty expires. If I wait till spring and buy it I still ride for the next two seasons in warranty and then it sits in storage under warranty until it expires just before taking it out for the third season.

Either way I get the same number of months of coverage in my area while the riding is good.
