Its my opinion that performance follows function. If it serves only as a decoration its called an ornament. Im satisfied with the basics of the vehicle although there is still much refinement to do. However its time to start tossing the steel hardware in favor of Titanium wherever I can. Aluminum will go into non load areas and then Ti for anything under load or wherever I have extra. Every 7lbs shed up front is important:greedy:
Couldn't stand the latch bolts so I made some out of 8mm stock and then heat treated them so they were not identical to the latch plate. Can't say I love them but they are not factory crap:mooning:
Copy away my friends. Seems many of the pictures have vanished here but you can steal any ideas or get some additional ideas and infomation at Slingshot Performance Only on facebook. Slingshot Performance Only
Hey Shane. Only made a few items of each for some fund raising for St Jude. Nothing going on for the moment. Mirrors are a DIY thing and the fender and hood vents can be sourced from Zero Decible motorsports. Should be a link in here somewhere.
how much do those outer Hood / Fender vents help at high speeds, does it make the hood not want to push up as much at like a hundred and twenty or a hundred thirty miles per hour?
