Slingshot: Original Alpha sling that was used to develop our turbo kit.

Engine: Original stock block with ARP head studs, basic Alpha turbo kit with side exit exhaust and tubular manifold.

Trans: Alpha Swapped and programmed auto conversion

This was last weekend 11.6 @ 114 MPH! The sling is at the track right now and hopefully we can come home today with a 10 second slip on a stock block!

Looks to be a full sec faster than any documented SlingShot on the quarter mile time and over a sec faster on the 1/8 mile time. At this time, I agree that this well worn Sling can lay claim to the fastest Sling in the 1/4 mile. Maybe some Fender vents would help the parachute affect.

Andy was at the track yesterday. Best was 11.2. Yestuday was the last open track day. Sadly cedar falls will be part of the nhra group next year and the nhra banned slingshots.

Hood is not the problem, its the fenders. Should have taken them off im guessing after 100 mph we would have gained 2-4 mph and hit 10's
