We get a emails and PM's asking for help assembling and timing up Ecotec engines, we know this information is in the service manual, but for those that do not have that manual, we put together a little something to help. It is a manual that includes the assembly instructions for assembling a block to cylinder head and timing up the cams and balance shafts, all with the torque values and tools needed to assemble the 2.4L Ecotec engine.
