Just curious if anyone has added a dual phone mount?

I am looking to add one and don't like the mounts I have seen thus far. I am thinking of making my own mount but thought I would see if anyone has done something different than what I have seen.

What I am thinking is machining a bracket that mount to the windshield centre post and then has the Ram Mount ball. (picture attached).

Thought I would ask before I go through the effort of machining and powder coating the bracket. Thanks for any input.

I always hated the ram X grip holder. For various reasons.

I am in love with the Mob Armor magnetic pro holder. Can even mount one for a passenger. The whole setup is $35.

Slap and go. Put them in all my vehicles and it is awesome being able to mount to any vehicle in a blink of an eye. A buddy even uses one on his sport bike. Holds his phone rock solid.

Well, I have decide to go ahead and machine the holder bracket.

Seeing as the programing and machine set up is the biggest time consumption and the actual machining doesn't take that long (ie making 2 is almost the same as making 1).

Does anyone else want one? I would only charge cost; thinking $25 - $30 including the powder coating. I am doing mine black but most other standard colors are not a big deal. Shipping is obviously extra.

I use the RAM motorcycle clutch mount with dual balls, metal (not the plastic one) on a custom aluminum plate system and it works well. The prototype isn't pretty, but it works great. I'd be interested in the dual RAM setup--that looks great and would readily fit my needs; haven't seen that before.

I only made 1 bracket but I still have the machine programs and could make more. It's not a money thing for me just cost recovery. Or I could send you the CAD model and you could see if a local machine shop could make it - very easy part to machine.
