Other than a clear bra, I'm not sure what can protect this ABS plastic. It moves around too much for any of the "glass" like clearcoats, and otherwise you are cleaning it all of the time. If you find something let me know, but I've basically chalked up the front to the Colorado roads as I have with all of my cars. I'll just paint it down the road :)

Over 13,000 miles and only a few small dinks here and there I think the plastic actually takes the punishing road pretty well.

Not going over 35? Blasphemy! I am in the Littleton area. Perhaps a meetup in the near future for the Denver people.
What us C Springs peeps are cool enough?!?!?

I have a can of 3m spray on clear coat protectant for the front that everyone recommends. Sorry to say I haven't "sprayed" it on yet, but I will treat the lower front end and around the lights to prevent the rock chips.

Met up with JookyOne last night...awesome guy! Nice to meet you in person. Also...anyone that hasn't ridden in a turbo Sling...try it. It gave me the same feeling I had when I rode my first roller coaster. Scared the hell out of me and I wanted more. lol

I just wish giving rides gave me some kind of commission, then these things would pay for themselves.

Pleasure to meet you Br4hm4. Great time shootin the breeze and another great experience facilitated by the Slingshot.

Speaking of, I had a friend from Austria whom I invited to come shoot the shit with me and he thought we were literally going out with guns to shoot turds. Need to choose my words more carefully sometimes.

@Jonathan Thompson when am I going to get to hear the UP Trio? My ears will buy you a dinner.

I would ride in a turbo, but it would end up costing my $6K to get one.
Ok...so this is what I thought...I loved the turbo, I loved the feeling of scaring the hell out of me. But the one thing I took away from the ride was...I won't turbo. At least not anytime soon. I want to get to a point where I can out ride the SS. Once I get to that limit...then I think it will be time for a turbo. Till then, let me learn how to be a killer driver with the SS, then I can worry about the power. lol

Hey guys, I need to test a new product we are working on. Anyone interested in trying out a header/exhaust with a catalytic converter and ceramic coating? If so, shoot me an email and i'll give you details.

Hey all,

I am going to Grand Junction this weekend to see family. Pretty sure I will take the SS. I know the weather is supposed to be nasty, but they Don't expect snow. Has anyone gone over the passes this late in the year? Any suggestions? I am taking 70 up to Battlement Mesa and then taking the road over the Mesa to hit the Applefest in Cedaredge. This is my first trip of more than 100 miles....suggestions welcome.

Jim Varner was at Cars & Coffee today. Not sure how many other SS's were there, but the photos he put on Facebook made me really wish I wasn't working today.

Sorry we missed last weekends get together but work calls. We are going on a 220 mile loop on Saturday if anyone is interested. We are starting at the Western Omelette at 16 S Walnut St 80905 after breakfast around 10am. Hwy 24 to Buena Vista, Hwy 285 South to Salida, Hwy 50 to Canon City, Hwy 115 to Colorado springs. Some stops along the way, Holy Cross Abby for some wine in Canon City. We are up to changing plans and flexible if a group ride is planned somewhere else, this is not in stone. Let us know your plans and we can make something work.:):)
