Colorado Springs was a brisk 47 degrees this morning...and for the first time ever...I was thankful for the cockpit heat. I would normally not ride any of my previous motorcycles in weather under 50 degrees, but thought I would be good in the SS. And yep...enjoyed the drive in to work. :)

We have liners in our jackets that we used on the Harley so I figure if the Harley battery would support it the SS should. I wired the plug directly to the battery and ran it up between the seats.

Best move you can make if you like extending your riding season....i got the basic thermostat, with battery cables..and gloves and jacket...for about $300 at that time...( yrs ago) and rode on my HD with no issues....but this kept me really comfy,,and the thermostat you can make it less warm or really Warm...at times almost to hot.hahha ....go for it...:) get basic,,add more later.

Ok, it's getting cold here in New England. Who's figured out how to heat one of these things? I'd love to extend my driving season, but it's already gotten too cold to make my commute enjoyable. I've had heated gear with my bikes in the past, and I'd rather be able to just turn on the heat. I'm lazy.:arghh:
