We are in the process of build Air Wings for those who have tops on their SlingShot to bring air in on rider and co-rider. This has been in the works and we are close to getting them off the production line and onto your S.S. What we are looking for is feedback on which model you would prefer and would purchase. We have in prototype a 4 piece deflector or a 2 piece deflector. Thank you in advance for your feedback it is gratefully appreciated.
Are these supposed to go on the top front bar of a roof?
It would be easier to make a decision if we saw pictures of them on an actual roof system but my initial reaction is that you would probably want to offer users a chance to purchase a full set of small easily removable pieces that they can attach and detach and adjust in whatever fashion suits them best.

Thank you here are some photos that we photoshopped what they will look like on the Sling Shots, we have someone coming to the shop Saturday that has a roof as we do not have one here. Hope these new pictures help with thoughts, and preferences for feed back.
I think it may depend on the type of roof. I'm looking at the Fab Factory roof and that might actually look best with a 2 piece set done real dark so you can use it like a sun visor in a car. Otherwise I think the 4 piece looks best with the other tops I've seen.
I'll give you a different perspective. I now have a top and would like to have some wings to keep out rain, if I happen to run into it. It comes flying in between the top of the windshield and where the top starts. Perhaps you could come up with some dual purpose wings. I do have the high windshield, so that helps and also complicates things for all the different heights of windshields and designing wings for them.
ADMINISTRATIVE NOTE: This and the following posts were made to a different thread; both threads were in the wrong section, had vague titles, and members were confused as to what was being discussed. The threads have been moved, re-titled, and merged.
Ok so we previously asked about the top wings whether people would prefer the two piece or four piece units. We are still working on these and getting them perfected, but we now want to know how many people would be seriously considering on purchasing or wanting them. We are curious about the market level to see how many we need to be thinking of mass producing them. We are still unsure on the exact design whether it will be two piece wings, 4 pieces, or the new 3 piece that we just designed. So we are just asking are you interested in these wings at all?
I would be interested in the four piece. On the bullet speed top there is a lot of turbulent air coming from the v-shaped corners (left & right) that hits at head level. The four piece appears to have better coverage of these corners.
@bakerbuilt has been making 'Air Wings' bringing air in or keeping it out for lots of motorcycles for over 25 years.
I have them on the sides of my F4 5+ tinted windshield.
Love the air control I have with these. The guys with tops
have been looking "Air Wings" to use with the tops...
I will remain topless so don't need this design....But will
give Bruce Baker a 5 Star rating for the side wings.
I have had them on my Slingshot for about 40,000 miles.
