Fender from Polaris and exhaust from Slingmods. I called the exhaust makers, Thermal R&D, and Slingmods.com, and both couldn't do anything about this issue or make it right. Slingmods is still selling this without disclosing the incompatibility problem. Your only warning may come from this article. Hitting the slightest bump will drive your fender into the exhaust and cause it to look like the picture attached. I am very pissed off about this; after spending thousands of dollars, I am left with this. If anyone has any solutions, I would love to hear them.

I guess my question would be, if you already had the rear fender, why did you buy the duals that come up like that? You can tell by the pictures where the pipes have to be routed and there is only so much room to work in.

Maybe you can swap out those for the touring style tips which would solve the clearance issue.

Many owner's fail to realize just how much travel that rear suspension has, though I dare say that this information is in the Owner's manual. Otherwise, I simply do not see how this is a manufacturer(s) or vendor issue or concern? It simply is neither's responsibility to investigate every installation combination possibility for conflict. It is too bad that this has happened, but it was the OP's choice to install these components.

With that said, maybe adjusting the rear ride height may help, I needed to do this when I installed aftermarket shocks and a conflict came about with our Paramount version 1 fender. Of course, this would mean purchasing an adjustable aftermarket rear shock.

Just a thought.

Yes, not the mfgr issue. After market rear fender addition issue. I'd Ditch the fender.

"The unexpected" is unfortunately a thing with doing your own modifications. Generally one would support the frame, unbolt the rear shock, and test the travel before putting the exhaust in. Granted, this is an aftermarket exhaust one would expect to fit, but I'm saying this from the position of someone who's modded Slings in some rather unique ways....anyway, testing fitness first, during, and after is almost always a good idea.

Sad this happened, it is unfortunate. A potential solution is to forego the rear fender and put a rubberized media on the rear panel (though the exhaust might take a beating on gravel roads), or keep the fender and choose a different exhaust (possibly a better option, but your situation is most likely far different than mine).

I know the problem you are having and there is a fix. My Brother has the same Exhaust and Fender with Air bags and he can drop his Sling all the way down and not touch the exhaust. we had to do some slight modifications to the mounting brackets and spread the exhaust wider.

i put the same configuration on mine. what i have done with my 2021R is raised it, most lower theirs. I live on a road base road and was tired of bottoming out on larger rocks. it appears in the picture that you posted i may have more room. if you get the chance tell the amount of inches between your fender and the exhaust. although i dont think that i will have the same issue, my exhaust was jut put on and has not been tested yet.

How can you honestly expect either company to warranty against a mismatch with another company’s product. You should have researched and did some measurements before ordering. This is all on you.
