So I'm actually curious as to how much time everyone spent on the internet before any announcements of the SS. I typically wasted one to three hours a day, but now it's up to five or six, depending on the number of new posts on the forum...

I spend four to six hours a day reading the new posts on here as well. I did get an email yesterday from the porn industry. They asked if I was okay, said that they missed me, and wanted me back. I replied that once my SS arrives, my shadow will never (mostly) darken their doorway again. I explained that all of my extra wood causing excitement would be delivered by different types of curves, and fast action thrusts.

Saul, does this have anything to do with the thrust vs weight issues discussed in some of the other threads. Consider a supercharger maybe? :D

The thrust vs. weight issue discussed elsewhere are not exactly the same as I was referring to. Weight can sometimes be an issue, but minimal weight variances can be compensated for by proper alignment, a rolling start, and an experienced handler. Small amounts of alcohol fuel addatives can be a benefit at times in these situations as well. Once at accelerated speeds the thrust simply out performs any nominal weight issues that may be encountered at lower speeds. Of course no one in their right mind would refuse a boost provided by a supercharger, even if it's thought to be unnecessary at the time. It is reported that the supercharger enhances the performance output, especially in situations requiring additional traction, curve handling, and fast action thrust at high rpm's. That is the word on the street anyway.;)

Time is good but how about money. Don't have the SL but do have one SS helmet, $ 400.00, two covers
$ 600.00 and I'm forcing myself not to order the Turbo job. STOP ME

just killing time,... so what the heck....
Twas the night before Christmas and all though the house
the whole damn family was drunk as a louse
with mom in the whore house and dad in jail
I was sitting in my slingshot thinking about the tail
when out on the lawn there rose such a clatter
I sprang from my slingshot to see what was the matter
I knew in a moment it must be saint nick
he looked at the tire and thought, will it stick
he ran to the driveway as quick as a flash
when he hit that ice he fell on his ass
he filled all the stockings with pretzels and beer
and left a box with that special gear
I heard him explain as he rode out that night
it's one hell of a ride, it's out of sight

Well, I don't exactly remember when I saw the first rendering. I didn't spend any time then because I said pfffffffff..........That'll never make it to the market.

It wasn't until I was arguing with someone about the polaris RZR and I pulled up the polaris page that I noticed it. My heart fell into my stomach. Since that day, I've been sick. No matter what I'm doing I take any spare second to check the forum and my email. I also check YouTube everyday for new videos. My friends and family are annoyed by this behavior but they will not complain because they all want a ride in it.

To answer the question I don't know how much time exactly......All of it? It's stupid. Even when I drive to the store, I wonder how that last corner would have felt in the SS. I think about how its going to feel charging up the on-ramp to the freeway. I'm consumed, at home, at work, the only thing that will fix it is the delivery of my SS. I need it now. I should be out in it as we speak.

Recently some of the ads on the forum have changed from automotive-related and the like, to these new ones: Russian Dating for Seniors.
Clearly this is a plot by the manufacturers to lure me away from the SS (and fiancé) and into the arms of my Russian bride! They know me and my senior desires all too well! :hungry:

:p

Well, it's better than those ads of the two guys who just stare at me. You can't click on them, they just... stare at you... o_O

If you don't hear from me by tomorrow morning, then I've hopped a plane to Russia.
I guess that puts me into the RED camp now! :hilarious:
