Finally found the post new thread button, so I'll repost the entry I left on the welcome thread:
I'm a retired math prof; have owned and operated various joy machines: Harley 125 (1960), Porsche 356 Speedster (1962), Porsche 356 Speedster (1967), Toyota MR2 (1986), Harley Cafe Racer (1998), Souza Bandit Gyroplane (1999), and now Polaris Slingshot, which has the weight of the speedster, but LOTS more power. My only trike experience has been the gyroplane, (truly the most fun you can have with your hand between your legs). Was immediately taken by Slingshot videos, and put out deposit on SL; my son was also impressed, enough so that he enrolled in a beginner's motorcycle course to earn the endorsement; the fun will be shared.
Found slingshotforums.com on google, and here I am.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Never flown the gyroplane, but I used to fly ultralight and powered parachute aircraft. I've been at the airfield several times when gyroplane's went up. Pretty cool.
